I was helping at my local church here in Sarnia, ON Canada and some of the ladies in the computer class I was overseeing were avid genealogists. This was 12 years ago and I got into it for about a year. Then with a change in jobs I got away from it.
This year I got interested again and decided to pick up where I left off but really get things organized better. I was encouraged to get my DNA test done and that made a huge difference in my making some real progress.
Once I got going with the DNA test reults and all the information it provided I was able to reconnect with my first cousins in far away lands that I had not spoken to in ages…
I had this website for quite a while. It started of just being about me and my family. Then I converted it to be about web design, branding and developing an online presence. Now I am going to lay out my findings with my parents, and grandparents stories.
Moriarty and St. Clair are my parents surnames and my Grandparents are Moriarty, Donohoe, St. Clair and Staley. I figure with the four ancestral names I have enough to record and keep me busy for a while.
My hope is that you will find this information entertaining as well as informative. ‘See you in the funny pages’ as they use to say…
